The International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) Concept is a global computer literacy
initiative developed to raise the level of knowledge about Information Technology
(IT) and increase the level of competence in using personal computers and common
computer applications for all the citizens of the worldwide users.
What can I learn?
There are three products in the ICDL GCC Foundation product range, ensuring that
whatever skills you wish to acquire or improve; there is a certification programme
to match.
How can I become an expert user?
Although the ICDL programme is designed as an introduction to desktop applications,
we also cater for the advanced user.

How do I get started ?
The ICDL range of certification programmes is available all over the GCC countries.

When you have decided what certification you would like to obtain, please consult
your country website to locate a test centre near you. You will need to purchase
a Skills Card/ Log Book, which you will then present each time you take a test.
To prepare for a test, there are many locally approved training materials available
to purchase in many languages. Approval shows that the material covers the syllabus
of the programme for which it is approved. For locally approved materials, visit your country website
When you are ready to sit a test, please present yourself to your local test centre.
Upon successful completion of all modules in a programme, you will be issued with
the certificate.

Training Materials
The ICDL GCC Foundation formally approves training materials produced by certain
courseware providers. Approval indicates that the training materials cover the syllabus
of the programme.
